Carrie

Carrie

I am a single mother of two beautiful girls. Victoria graduated from both Medina Sr. High and the MCCC from Animal Care. Victoria likes to be outside and enjoys anything that involves animals.

Pandora is a sophomore at Medina Sr. High. Pandora likes to spend time with her friends and looks forward to getting her driver's license. I work in the healthcare field and am intrigued with anything that has to do with this field. I like to spend my time outside reading or spending time with my children and friends.

Jennifer

Jennifer

My name is Jennifer, and I am a single mother of three daughters. I'm a Pharmacy Technician, but is currently staying home caring for Bailey soon to be 3 yrs. old who is special needs and is receiving in home therapies. We are looking forward to Bailey attending preschool this fall and my return to work.

Erin is 9 yrs. old and will be attending the 4th grade in the fall. She loves school but also loves playing on her Girls Basketball team at the Rec.

Ryan is 18 months old and loves playing with Bailey. You can find them building with Duplo blocks, playing basketball and col-oring most of the day. We also enjoy going to the park, reading.

We are so grateful for the opportunity that habitat offers for my family. Moving from this two-bedroom tiny apartment into a nice, safe, affordable home for my girls to grow up in.

Troy

Troy

My name is Troy and I'm a single father of two daughters and a "paw" to one little grandson. I work as a maintenance technician for the Medina County District Libraries. My youngest daughter Cyra Mae is 13 and lives in Florida with her mom and stepdad. She stays with me in the summer. My oldest daughter Valerie, who's 25, came to live with me when she got pregnant almost 4 yrs ago

And even though we all love each other dearly, the one bedroom half a house we share, just is not big enough and lack of space has a tendency to test our patience with one another. They share the bedroom and I been sleeping on the couch since they moved in. But please understand this,... I'm NOT complaining.. I'm truly grateful to have a place to live. To live next door to an awesome brother and his family who help us out a lot. To have an opportunity to see my grandson everyday, when some grandparents see theirs once a year.

And last but not least, I am and will be, forever grateful for Habitat for Humanity and all the awesome people that are helping my little family and I have a home of our own some day...

Kelly

Kelly

I was born in Wadsworth and was moved to Texas when I was 12. I have been estranged from a large part of my family, for 42 years. I returned for a visit, and found I have a deep love for the town and the desire to come to know my family and help them as I am able, in the chal-lenges of their elderly years. I am very grateful for the opportunity to come home and re establish my roots. I love to read and write. I am fascinated by the history and antiquity of Wadsworth and I am looking forward to making a home here and establishing my roots.

Samantha

Samantha

Hi! My name is Samantha(Sammy). I am 28 years old. I have a 5 year old son named, Jazmeer(Jaz). He currently attends Buckeye Preschool and will be going into kindergarten in the fall. I am currently working at Eliza Northrop Elementary as an Instructional Paraprofessional. I have been with the school system for 3 years now. I also work as a Waitress at Yours Truly restaurant in Medina. I have been working there for 11 years.

My son and I are currently living with my mom and dad in Litchfield, Ohio. For 5 years I lived on my own but when my son turned 3 we needed to leave our living situation and move back in with my parents. I took the 2 years we have been with them to rebuild my credit and financial stability. It has been a blessing living with them and being able to get back on my feet. However, their house is only a 2 bedroom and my son and I have been sharing a room. I applied for Habitat for Humanity so that I can have an opportunity to have my own home for Jaz and I. Being a good mother is extremely important to me and I want to do everything I can to provide a secure future for Jazmeer.

Jaylee

Jaylee

I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I lived most of my life in Garfield Heights, and moved to Brunswick in 1993, and then to Guilford Township in 2000 in order to be closer to my elderly parents, who at that time lived in Seville, Ohio. I spent most of my working career in Cleveland as a paralegal, as well an assistant to the Medina County probate judge in the early 2000s.

I have not owned my own home for many years, and am very much looking forward to the wonderful experience of home ownership. I am very grateful and humbled to be affiorded this opportunity.

My hobbies currently are my new husband, Andrew, who I recently married on February 25, 2017, our three dogs—Grandma, Bella Mae, and Zip (aka Peanut). I enjoy the outdoors, nature walks, and motorcycle rides with my husband on beautiful days.
