My name is Troy and I'm a single father of two daughters and a "paw" to one little grandson. I work as a maintenance technician for the Medina County District Libraries. My youngest daughter Cyra Mae is 13 and lives in Florida with her mom and stepdad. She stays with me in the summer. My oldest daughter Valerie, who's 25, came to live with me when she got pregnant almost 4 yrs ago
And even though we all love each other dearly, the one bedroom half a house we share, just is not big enough and lack of space has a tendency to test our patience with one another. They share the bedroom and I been sleeping on the couch since they moved in. But please understand this,... I'm NOT complaining.. I'm truly grateful to have a place to live. To live next door to an awesome brother and his family who help us out a lot. To have an opportunity to see my grandson everyday, when some grandparents see theirs once a year.
And last but not least, I am and will be, forever grateful for Habitat for Humanity and all the awesome people that are helping my little family and I have a home of our own some day...

Reverend Joan and Ann Roller--After 37 years as Pastor of the same church where where we lived in the parsonage, we were forced to move after reiting. Our income is social security which is not a large amount. After days of praying and looking for a home we were not able to find something we could afford. Our daughter saw a sign in Wadsworth about Habitat for Humanity. She copied the number and then called us and we called them. The people there were so helpful and we qualified for a Habitat home and went on the wait list.
We have been able to volunteer to get our necessary sweat equity hours and and more. We are thrilled that Habitat has found the perfect house for us! We are so blessed and thankful for the staff that has helped us!
