Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Without volunteer labor the increased construction cost of each home would prevent it from being affordable for future Habitat Homeowners.

To volunteer or arrange a group volunteer activity, such as corporate team building day, please contact the Habitat office at volunteer@medinahabitat.org or at 330-722-4494.

Volunteer at a Build Site: 18 years or older

Volunteers 16 & 17 are welcome as long as they are with a parent or guardian.

Build Site volunteers work with our construction leaders to build a house for a Habitat for Humanity partner family. The office will contact you prior to the event to provide address information and other details.

As a Build Site Volunteer you will…

  • Work with Construction Coordinator and core volunteers who will guide you through the building process. No construction experience is necessary!
  • Complete tasks such as raising walls, painting, landscaping, siding, installing cabinets and countertops and so much more!

Volunteer at the ReStore 18 Years and older

Volunteers from 16 & 17 are welcome as long as they are with a parent or guardian.

We have volunteers in the store on Wednesday – Saturday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. You are not required to volunteer the entire day or every week.

As a ReStore volunteer you will…

  • Work with our ReStore staff and volunteers
  • Unload donations from the ReStore trucks
  • Help stock shelves
  • Customer service

    Consider sponsoring a house

    A business or individual can sponsor an entire house or major portions of one.

    Donate land. Do you have a building lot?

    We are in need of buildable lots with city water and sewer within Medina County. If you are aware of any that can be donated or that are available at a reasonable price please let us know. The gifting of land can be very beneficial to Habitat and the donor.
